After 20 years of implementing the Renovation (Doi Moi) policy, Vietnam has gained remarkable achievements on the way to industrialization and modernization of the nation and has become one of the fastest growing economies in the world. So far, Vietnam has established relationship with more than 170 countries and territories and joined almost major international organizations, playing a proactive role in the international community.
Vietnam-Turkey diplomatic relations were established on 7th June 1978 and the Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey was opened in Octorber 2003. The two countries enjoy good relations of friendship and cooperation in various fields, especially in the economic field. It’s my strong belief that with the mutual efforts, the relations between the two countries will be further developed and consolidated with every passing day for the sake of the two peoples’ interests.
